Our Team

Everything published on North Star Casino Guide carries a name. This page lists who writes here, what they are responsible for, and how to reach them about a correction.

It sits alongside the best online casinos for Minnesota players, the comparison this site is built around.

What a byline means here

A byline on this site means a person is answerable for the figures on the page. It is not a generic "editorial team" label attached to unattributed copy. Where a number appears — a payout window, a licence authority, a wagering multiplier — the author is the person who checked it and the person who will correct it if it turns out to be wrong.

How we handle uncertainty

Offshore operators publish inconsistently, and some publish nothing at all. When a fact cannot be verified from a source that actually names the operator, we do not quietly borrow a number from a generic industry article and present it as research — attributing a stranger's licence or payout time to a brand is worse than an honest gap. Such values are marked as estimates, with the basis for the estimate recorded.

Why one named editor rather than a masthead

Small comparison sites often list an anonymous "editorial team" because it is easier to maintain and impossible to hold to account. We think the opposite trade is the right one. A single named editor means a reader who disagrees with a ranking knows whose judgement they are disagreeing with, and an operator who thinks a review is unfair knows exactly who to write to. It also means the site cannot quietly change its mind about an operator without somebody's name being attached to both versions.

As the site grows, contributors will be added to this page with their own hubs, their own areas of responsibility and their own bylines. What will not change is the rule that every figure on the site belongs to a person who checked it.

Corrections and contact

Corrections can be raised through our contact page. We publish corrections rather than silently editing pages, and the last-updated date on every page moves when its content does.

How we source figures, when we label something an estimate, and how commercial relationships are kept away from the rankings are all set out in full in the editorial policy.
